This policy explains what data AutoDM ("the service"), operated by The Real Bassel, processes and why.

Who we process data about

Account owners — people who connect their Instagram professional account to the service.
Commenters — people who comment on posts of a connected account or message that account.

What we collect

From account owners: Instagram account ID, username, and an access token issued by Instagram after the owner grants permission.
From commenters: Instagram-scoped user ID, username, the text of the comment, the ID of the post, messages and button taps sent to the connected account, the time of each event, and whether the person opened a link sent by the service.

We do not collect passwords, payment data, contact lists, or location.

Why we use it

To reply to comments and messages on behalf of the account owner, to avoid sending the same message twice, and to show the account owner statistics about their own posts.

What we do not do

We do not sell data, do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, do not use it to build profiles across accounts, and do not send bulk or promotional mailings.

Storage and retention

Data is stored on a server controlled by the operator, with access limited to the operator. Raw event records are deleted after 90 days. Contact and statistics records are kept while the account is connected and are deleted when the account is disconnected or on request.

Sharing

Data is sent to Meta Platforms (Instagram) to deliver replies and messages, and to a hosting provider that stores it. Service notifications to the operator are sent through Telegram and do not contain message texts.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data or for its deletion at any time. See Data Deletion or write to basel.dadzhani@gmail.com. Account owners can revoke access in Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites.
